Canada Palestine Association (CPA) was formed in 1980 by Palestinian Canadians and their supporters.  Canada Palestine Association engages in many activities from fundraising for Palestinian medical charities to educational forums to advocacy work with all levels of government.  We are completely independent and believe that the grassroots approach and the collective efforts of people are the best way to achieve our long term goals.  Over the years Canada Palestine Association has been at the forefront of many campaigns; it has opposed the racist stereotyping of Palestinian and Arab Canadians and has helped to explain the Palestinian peoples' aspirations and human and national rights to people in British Columbia.
